Well first off, may I apologize for my incoherent, rambling and unorganized post earlier this morning?
It was well into 3am before I posted it, so many of my sentences do not make any sense at all.

Anyway, I'm not doing my official post until this evening.  But what I didn't talk about yesterday was that I had the opportunity to take some photos of some really beautiful girls yesterday afternoon.  My husband watched my  beautiful son so that I could go off for a spontaneous photo shoot.

I called my mom and asked her to bring my baby sister (who is now going to be 11 in February!) so that I could do a photo shoot of her!  Well I was lucky enough to have five beautiful young girls be there and looking adorable.  So I was blessed to have the opportunity to shoot all of them with my new (borrowed) glass!  I was so thrilled!

From left to right, Lydia, Morgan, Camelia (my baby sister), Isabella, and Mariana.
My sweet sister and her beautiful friends.
So I used my 50mm and took some great photos with the most beautiful bokeh I have ever had the opportunity to catch!  I was beyond thrilled with the results.  After the girls got whisked away to their new years eve parties, I was left with just my mom, my new glass, a great tripod and remote.  My mother started using me as a model and we took a photo shoot!  It was great fun.  I have very few photos of myself.  My mom happens to be AMAZING  at staging photos, which is something I don't have a great knack for.  I become very non-confrontational (very unlike myself) when I get behind the lens.  I don't want people to feel uncomfortable.  But my mom has this eye for staging incredible shots.

That photo of me is probably a great depiction of how I look every day, a little frazzled, a little lost, and certainly mystified by the life I live.  Filled with joy, happiness, sadness, and love.  In awe of all that is and will be.

So at 3:00 I will be going over to my parents house to do a full family photo shoot session. I will attempt at using the flash that I have on loan,  But of course we will see how that goes.  So until this evening, or tomorrow.  Good luck with the rest of your day!  I'll post some more photos when I get the opportunity!  Especially of todays special event.

  1. Keep it up. Send in that photo of Aeden somewhere. I'll be your staging assistant. How fun . Then you can focus on camera and shoot.
Minus the apologies in your writing. No necessary.
